It was in 1974 that a vibrant and young K.M. Moidin Kunhi traveled with his dream to Dubai, after leaving his native place of Kasargod in Kerala, India. In those days, the UAE was in its first decade of functioning, and Moidin Kunhi was among the multitude of immigrants who arrived in Dubai with big dreams to fulfill. Traveling by ship, he hoped to dwell in a better world, not just for himself, but for his family too.
Firstly, he started as a worker for a business dealing in the supply of pipeline fittings to clients in the marine, industrial, and oilfield sectors. Moidin was with the business for a long period of ten years and gained knowledge of how everything works in the field. He improved the quality of his products and established a good relationship with his customers. Nevertheless, the one factor that changed that situation was when the business was shut down abruptly. However, this didn’t deter Moidin as he held these years as unfavorable because he saw it as a chance to build something that solely belonged to him.
In 1986, Al Moosawi Trading LLC was born. What started as a trading store in Deira has gained fame due to the sustainable, quality and reliable service offered by it. Now it has been 38th years. And the company has not only survived the ups and downs of the ever-changing economic conditions but thrived through them. The Al Moosawi Trading once began humble, but later eminently occupied a pivotal role in U.A.E’s marines and industries sections. Additionally, the firm has been able to support both the government sectors and the private ones.
This transformation was not accidental but was mainly because of one man who saw the virtue of consistency, commitment, and customer satisfaction.
Moidin embarks on a challenging journey that, despite its hardship, is on target thanks to its clear mission. One of the core philosophies that he desired to stand for was Trust.
